ISC deputy CEO responds to claims that VAT on fees is adding pressure to staff workload

Simon Nathan, deputy CEO of ISC, has responded to reports from the NEU that teachers are being expected to work unpaid overtime as part of school cost-cutting measures.
Mr Nathan said: “Independent schools provide a world-class education to more than half a million students.
“Our schools take their legal responsibilities very seriously, doing everything possible to make sure they are fantastic places to work for thousands of teachers in every corner of the country.”
