Gary is an established education and technology professional with over 25 years of experience as a teacher, senior leader, and consultant across the UK and the Middle East. As an IT professional, Gary holds multiple industry-recognised security certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC). In 2025, Gary was honoured with the Edufuturists Outstanding IT Professional Award, having previously been a finalist in the 2022 Edufuturist Network Manager of the Year Awards and the 2023 Global EdTech Awards, Most Impactful Senior Member of Staff category. A regular speaker at UK and international conferences, Gary shares insights on cyber security in schools, AI in education, digital citizenship, and technology strategy, helping schools navigate the evolving digital landscape with confidence and clarity.
