Woldingham is one of the UK’s leading boarding and day schools for girls aged 11-18. Set within 700 acres of the most beautiful Surrey countryside, yet remarkably accessible from London, Gatwick and Heathrow, Woldingham provides an inspiring and safe place for students to become confident, compassionate and courageous young women. It’s a place where students are helped to “write your own story” through excellent teaching, boundless opportunities and first-rate pastoral care.

Woldingham is able to cater for students with a variety of mild specific learning needs. The Learning Enhancement Department fully involve the student, their parents and teachers in decisions about the support the SEND student receives to reach their full potential.
Most SEND students are provided with a ‘light touch’ support which is mainly delivered through the high quality teaching of staff daily in the classroom. Through their dedication and commitment most of the SEND students’ needs are met. Those students needing additional support receive focused targeted individual or small group intervention by highly specialist staff.
Woldingham offers the following scholarships:
11+: Academic, Art, Drama, Music, Performing Arts and Sport. There is a ‘Local Girl’ Scholarship (means tested) for a pupil at a local, maintained primary school.
13+: Academic, Art, Drama, Music, Performing Arts and Sport.
16+: Academic, Art, Drama, Music, Science and Sport.
In recognition of our important legacy as a Sacred Heart school, Woldingham School remains committed to broadening access by offering eligible parents/guardians means-tested financial support with the payment of day fees.
Bursaries are for girls who will flourish at Woldingham. To be eligible for a bursary, girls must demonstrate strong potential, contribute to, and benefit from, the many opportunities offered by the school and whose family’s financial circumstances would otherwise make attending Woldingham School impossible.
Bursaries are usually awarded to girls joining in Year 7 and typically continue through to the end of Sixth Form. Girls can apply for a scholarship and a bursary.
