Our Learning Support team has a breadth of knowledge, experience and understanding in a wide range of areas of need such as autism spectrum conditions, specific learning difficulties (e.g. Dyslexia) and ADHD, as well as the personal skills to get to know each student as an individual. In addition to our onsite staff resources we also have access to visiting therapists for areas such as speech and language or occupational therapy and we work with a range of specialist assessors and educational psychologists to ensure students and parents can access the additional support and understanding for their child’s needs.
Some scholarships include fee remission; values may be a percentage or a fixed amount per annum. The majority of scholarships either have no fee remission or are at a fixed amount (e.g. £1,000). Scholarships can be held alongside bursaries where candidates qualify for additional fee support.
Bursaries are only available to those who are successful in our entrance examination and interview; assistance is not guaranteed if a place is offered. The level of fee remission will be determined on a sliding scale which may offer up to 100 per cent reduction in fees.
Bursaries may also be available through our Nightingale Fund.
Applicants hoping to join RGS Sixth Form to pursue the study of STEM subjects at A Level and beyond, and who qualify for a bursary, may apply to become a Gershon Scholar.
