SCHOLARSHIPS

YEAR 7 ENTRY
• Academic:
Students who excel in our 11+
Entrance Examinations.
• Sport:
Students will be expected to play representative sport at county levelor the equivalent, preferably, but not exclusively, in one of the school’s major team sports. Students will be expected to maintain representative sport at county level through to the end of Year 11.
• Creative:
Students will be expected to
demonstrate one of the following:
o play a musical instrument or singat Grade 4 (minimum), or an equivalent award.
o provide a suitable portfolio showcasing their work in Drama.Students will be expected to study Drama at GCSE.
o provide a portfolio showcasing their artistic talent. Students will be expected to study Art or Design at GCSE.
• All-Rounder:
Provided to students with significant talents in a range of disciplines.
YEAR 12 ENTRY
• Academic:‘Rosminian’ Scholarships are awarded to the students with the top 5 GCSE
results.
• Sport:Students will be expected to play representative sport at county level or the equivalent, preferably in one of
the school’s major team sports.
• Creative:
o Music students will be expected to play or sing at Grade 6
(minimum) or equivalent award.Students will be expected to study Music at ‘A’ level and/or contribute significantly to the
musical life of the school.
o Drama students will be expected to provide a suitable
portfolio showcasing their work and will be assessed at School. Students will be expected to study Drama at ‘A’ level.
