School Information

Founded in 1840 by William of Waynflete and based in central Oxford, MCS educates 700 boys aged 7-18. In 2008, it won The Sunday Times Independent School of the Year for the second time and topped TheTelegraph’s A Level League Table with 99.6% A-B grades. A third of leavers go on to Oxbridge. Sport, drama and music are strong and the school provides 16 junior choristers for Magdalen College.
