Additional Information

Our aim is to engage our children in their learning and inspire them by challenge and competition within a nurturing environment. Our expectations are high but realistic, uniting traditional practice with innovative teaching including the best of creative and academic practice. We provide a tremendous all-round education for every pupil.
We do not have a stately home or grand house to maintain, nor do we have acres of land for our children to romp in. Our fee structure reflects this and we are approximately half the cost of many of the other prep schools in the area. It is what happens inside the school buildings that is important to us and not how big they are – small is most definitely beautiful.  The intimate atmosphere is a particular strength of the school and enables us to build warm relationships with the children and their parents. Our class sizes allow for more individual attention from staff who value and understand every child and spend quality time with them to enhance their learning. The family feel of the school is evident and our children clearly benefit from being members of a small community.
Pupils leave us confident and well mannered, with essential life skills such as the ability to interact with people of all ages and work independently or as part of a team. Education here is for life not just the classroom.
