Faraday School

The not-for-profit New Model School Company opened Faraday, its second, low-fee independent primary school in September 2009. The school is situated at the historic Trinity Buoy Wharf, across the Thames from the O2 arena. It was here that British scientist Michael Faraday carried out his work on the improvement of lighthouses when he was working for Trinity House. In celebration of this, the school was named the Faraday School.
