Call for evidence
DfE has launched a call for evidence on distributing special educational needs and disability (SEND) funding more fairly in the future.
The consultation document asks specific questions of local authorities, including how they allocate funding to independent schools. ISC is preparing a general response on behalf of the sector.
See the recent statutory guidance relating to the SEND code of practice. ISC has produced a FAQ paper which may be helpful.
