New requirement to have a Register of People with Significant Control
From 6 April 2016, registered companies must keep a Register of People with Significant Control (PSC Register), either with complete information or the official wording to say it is in the process of being completed.
This wording can be found in the guidance from Companies House, see in particular Annex 2 of PSC guidance for companies, LLPs, and SEs.
The guidance from Companies House can be viewed by clicking here (see the last three guidance documents). Farrer & Co has produced an introductory guide for charities and their trading subsidiaries which can be viewed by clicking here.
