Cyber Essentials is a government-backed, industry supported scheme to help organisations protect themselves against common cyber attacks.
According to the ICO website, the education sector has one of the highest number of data breach incidents. Schools might therefore be interested in Cyber Essentials, a Government backed scheme designed to help organisations (including schools) to manage their risk and give confidence to parents, staff, students and governors that the school takes the safety of data seriously.
