Childnet International is a UK-based charity working with others around the world to help make the Internet a great and safe place for children and young people. Maintaining a culture of care and support for individual children, those working for and with children and the organisations operating around them, they raise awareness of key internet safety issues by providing quality awareness and advice to youth, parents, teachers, and caregivers as well as working with partners who provide technologies that protect children online and initiating or responding to policy changes that impact the Internet safety of children.

Childnet have a number of informative and attractive leaflets for pupils, teachers, and parents on a wide range of internet safety issues – including music downloading, social networking, and general internet and mobile phone safety; you can order internet safety posters, stickers, and mousemats, and they have a range of DVD’s and CD-ROM’s that cover issues such as cyberbullying and online grooming. They also offer face to face Activity Days for children, training sessions for staff and presentations for parents.
