These incorporate everything from bussing day children into school to visiting other schools for sports fixtures; from theatre outings and geography field trips, CCF, and Duke of Edinburgh expeditions to sports tours to other continents. Travelling, whether in the UK or abroad, is a high risk activity. No matter how carefully planned, things can go wrong - be it a delayed flight, a lost passport, an accident or illness. SFS Group has designed a comprehensive policy which covers all eventualities for all the children at a school and, where appropriate, staff and parents. This policy applies worldwide throughout the year and includes local travel such as daily transport to school as well as overseas trips. |
