Overall, 83% of Queen's 2010 A-level results were A,B or C grades - very much in line with the school's high academic standards. Fourteen high-fliers managed to achieve straight As or A*s in all their subjects. "All of our Oxbridge candidates are able to take up their places," said Headmaster Chris Alcock, "Independent schools are still giving great value in terms of getting pupils into really good universities."

The Junior School shares the main college campus and is able to use many of the excellent academic and sports facilities. A prime aim is to create a happy supportive environment where each child finds self-confidence and achieves their potential. Pre-Prep and Nursery has a rich mix of activities in a relaxed, happy environment but the teaching builds good foundations in literacy and numeracy.

The School caters for both day and boarding pupils from a wide catchment area. Although there is an entrance assessment, there is a wide ability range. We pride ourselves on an extensive range of activities outside the classroom which clearly give it the ethos of a thriving boarding environment. There are currently 55 teaching staff attached to the School, where class sizes are kept to a maximum of 19.
