Alpha is a small, friendly, co-educational school for pupils aged 4-11. We also own a Nursery on a separate site which is called Alphabets.

At Alpha, we have a stable, experienced and well-qualified staff. Several members of staff are parents or former parents of the school. Pupils often talk about how kind and approachable their teachers are, and how much they enjoy their lessons.

Non selective acdemically. Very high levels of value added at GCSE and A-Level. Small classes. Wide range of GCSEs and A-Levels. Strong focus on the local and global community. Significant % of students participate in DofE. Numerous trips locally and nationally.

Founded in 1897, Quainton Hall is an IAPS day preparatory school, educating some 180 children, aged from two and half in the nearby Nursery to thirteen in the main school. The school has excellant facilities including a chapel, modern laboratories, IT suite, sports hall, astro turf sports court,swimming pool and purpose built Library.

The School is open to boys residing within reasonable travelling distance. There are places each September for boys who will be over 11 and under 12 on their entry into the school. An entrance examination is set in January. In addition, places are available each September for boys to enter the third form. They must be over 13 and under 14. An entrance examination takes place in January.
