St Albans School dates from 948AD. A selective independent HMC day school of 780 with a co-ed Sixth Form of 280, it offers Scholarships and bursaries at all ages of entry. Academic standards are very high: 91% A/B at A level and 88% A*/A at GCSE in 2009. The School’s sporting record is outstanding and Drama and Music are strengths, the latter benefiting from our close links with the Cathedral.
