Heathcote School aims to provide all of its pupils with an environment where they feel secure and well cared for. Enabling them to become confident and compassionate citizens, who are prepared to make positive independent choices. Our child centred approach to learning and development, throughout the school ensures individual's strengths are recognised and they are able to achieve their full potential across a broad curriculum. We encourage children to be inquisitive, investigative and creative within their learning. We are able to achieve these high ideals with our small class sizes and the tangible community feel, which exudes from all who are part of Heathcote School. A mixed preparatory school for pupils from 2 to 11 years of a size suited to creating and maintaining: * a family atmosphere * individual education programmes driven by teacher assessment * Maximum class sizes of 16 pupils * Wrap around care from 7.30am to 6.00pm
