School Information

Sherborne was founded in 1550 by King Edward VI. For 458 years we have educated boys in the shadow of Sherborne Abbey and have grown into a modern independent boarding school of 592 boys and 99 teaching staff. Surrounded by the bustling market town of Sherborne and the rolling countryside of Dorset our task is to inspire, develop and support each boy to prepare him for his future world.
