There are immense rewards in terms of academic and social development to be gained from the Uppingham experience and whilst the School is noted for its strong commitment to all round education, its superb pastoral care and magnificent facilities, the pupils’ academic studies are a priority. In 2009 more than 59.6% of all A-Levels were graded A; 81.1% A or B. At GCSE the A-C pass rate was 98.8%.
