School Information

The Highlands and St Edward’s are two independent schools in a charitable trust that are jointly administered by a Board of Governors. We go out of our way to give your children the best possible education, and we try to make life as easy as we can for busy, working parents. The Highlands, set in a leafy site in a quiet part of Tilehurst, is our girls’ school and also boasts a co-ed nursery. Boys can stay on until they are 5 or 7, then transfer to St Edward’s. The Highlands caters for around 150 pupils so everyone really knows everyone. The Highlands is a community school with a strong sense of purpose and a serious approach to learning and fun. At all ages, pupils are happy, confident and love learning in a warm, caring environment.
