School Information

Founded in September 1973 and moved to new premises in 2002, Laxton Junior (age range 4 to 11) acts as a Preparatory School for Laxton/Oundle School but also prepares children for many other schools in the area. Our primary aim is to find the right school for your child. Now in our new purpose designed building we can take up to 280 boys and girls from ages 4-11 years, your child will receive personal attention in classes containing no more than 20 pupils and our staff makes every effort to help each individual realise their full potential. There are 25 fully qualified teachers plus seven specialist teachers who all work as a team in a concerted effort to help your child become a happy, self-confident individual with an academic foundation that will prepare them for the future. Why not come and see the school in action as you will have many questions relating to your child's education and the only way to have them satisfied is by talking to us and seeing the school in action.
