ISC response to the consultation on the Draft Charity Tribunal Rules 2007

This consultation document sought views on the draft Charity Tribunal Rules 2007. The Rules are expected to come into force to coincide with the commencement date of the Tribunal, which is anticipated to be in early 2008. The Act and the Rules apply to England and Wales.

The Act aims to provide a modern and effective legal framework for charities, to clarify what charity means in law, and to enhance public trust and confidence in both the concept of charity and charities themselves.
