ISC Response: Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 Barring Consultation Document

This consultation looked at the processes for barring people who should not work with children and vulnerable adults, as part of the next stage to introduce the toughest ever vetting and barring scheme. The scheme was introduced in the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 and will be introduced from autumn 2008.
