ISC sent out an alert in December following the Charity Commission’s publication of revised fundraising guidance. The draft includes changes which are intended to tighten oversight of the way charities are governed with particular reference to their fundraising practices. The consultation period runs until 11 February 2016 and the final guidance is planned to be published in time for when the new Fundraising Regulator opens on 1 April 2016. Schools are invited to send comments on the draft guidance to firstname.lastname@example.org.
