The UK Council for Child Internet Safety has published guidance for all providers of online social media

  • The UK Council for Child Internet Safety has published guidance for all providers of online social media or interactive services to help them embed online child safety into their web or mobile business and for parents and carers whose children are using social media.
  • CEOP (Child Exploitation and Online Protection) has updated its content on their Thinkuknow website for children, and their parents, carers or teachers. The new site offers a refreshed suite of articles and guidance on all aspects of child internet safety, as well as providing specific advice for parents and carers on preventing their children from becoming victims of sexual abuse and exploitation both online and in the ‘real world’.
  • NSPCC have created an online training course for anyone working with children to learn how children use the internet and how to help keep them safe from abuse
