Welcome to the Leadership Hub

Colleagues from each of the ISC Associations, together with BSA,  have been collaborating over an extensive period of time (see our leadership report), to identify Leadership opportunities within our sector. We are keen to ensure that all levels of staffing have leadership training that is relevant to their needs, engaging members as learners who, in turn, are able to influence their own career development. This can be done by participating in a range of courses, offered by the Associations. Information on these opportunities has been centralised for ease but you can also click onto other related websites.

It is our intention to enhance the high calibre of leadership training already in existence, whether you are a Bursar, teacher, Head or Governor. Members have articulated a desire to be responsible for accessing courses that can provide them with a variety of career pathways and they have also requested that courses can be accredited and, where appropriate, in a modular format leading to such as a Masters qualification. Skills will be transferable within the maintained and Independent sectors and balance the needs of the school, the team and the individual.

This is an exciting time in the area of C.P.D. and each of our Associations has put together a programme which is flexible enough for you to be able to access a range of courses, in a location and at a time, that suits your schedule.
