School Bursaries
Many ISC schools also offer means-tested bursaries to both new and existing pupils.
Bursaries tend to be means-assessed on a financial basis and will require the parent or guardian to fill out a declaration to establish whether the student meets the necessary criteria.
The Head and/or Bursar of the school will have more specific details and availability and eligibility.
Many schools also offer discounts for children of the clergy; teachers at the school; and HM forces.
Bursaries on offer:
Bursaries for new pupils
Bursaries for existing pupils
HM Forces family bursaries
Financial assistance for siblings
Clergy family bursaries
ISC does not provide assistance with funding but you may wish to contact the following:
- ISC’s Educational Grants Advice Service (grants information and advice): 01932 865619 (9am-11am, Monday - Friday)
- Educational Trusts’ Forum: http://www.educational-grants.org/ (offer advice on possible funding)
Do be aware that charitable trusts and grant organisations have strict criteria and usually require social need to be the contributing factor to the application for funds.
