Academic Scholarships
Academic scholarships are perhaps one of the most talked about forms of school fee assistance and can range from a 10% discount off school fees to much more. Academic scholarships are not means tested but often can be combined with a means tested bursary. To obtain an academic scholarship, students are required to sit an internal exam which the school will mark against their own criteria. It is always a good idea to speak with schools directly about the assessment process.
ISCias does not provide school fee assistance directly but can put you in touch with the following organisations:
- ISC’s Educational Grants Advice Service (grants information and advice)
- Charities Commission (holds a list of charitable trusts who may be able to provide financial assistance)
- Educational Trusts’ Forum: (offers advice on possible funding)
If you require any further information on academic scholarships or other scholarships and bursaries please do not hesitate to contact the team on 0845 SCHOOLS (7246657) or by sending us an email to: information@isc.co.uk.
