Studying in the UK
UK immigration law is currently undergoing its biggest shake-up for 40 years, with the introduction of an Australian-style "points based system". This applies to all non-EEA nationals, including those under 18 who wish to come to study at an independent school. Entry for academic year 2009/10 will be under the new system, and pupils will require a "Tier 4" visa. ISC is working with the UK Border Agency at the moment to clarify the rules applicable to pupils and further information and guidance will appear here as it becomes available. In the meantime, we recommend all potential pupils go to the UK Border Agency website for further information.
