Early Years Inspection

Since September 2008 the inspection of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) provision in ISC schools has been the responsibility of ISI.

The new EYFS statutory framework applies to all children until the 31st August following their fifth birthday. Provision for children under three, apart from those pupils who reach the age of three before the expiry of their first term in school (known as ‘rising threes') must still be registered with Ofsted.
