Booking is now open for SEN2008. With a mixture of expert panels and solo presentations, and with leading specialist speakers including Madeleine Portwood (Senior Specialist Educational Psychologist, Durham County Council), Dr Claudine Crane (York University) and Christine Ryan (Chief Inspector, ISI), the conference promises to be lively, stimulating and informative, with many opportunities for delegates to participate.
This essential event, taking place on Tuesday 4th November 2008, will cover important issues such as ‘What to expect from inspection’ ‘Speech and language difficulties: Practical suggestions for intervention and inclusion' and ‘Legal briefing: What heads and SENCos need to know'.
Last November, SEN2007 booked to capacity in a matter of weeks, and with over 250 delegates was the largest event of its type ever held in the independent schools sector. This year we have decided to keep the event at Hotel Russell as it suited the event perfectly. We recommend booking now to secure your place, as over half the places have now been booked.
Delegate places are available at the subsidised rate £165 + VAT for ISC member schools.
We hope that you will be able to join us for what promises to be an incredibly useful and stimulating day. For the full current agenda, venue information, or to register as a delegate, please click here.
